Antonio Maldonado, Esq., LL.M.
PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY
Mr. Maldonado recieved his Licenciado en Derecho degree from
ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico.
He later earned his Masters of Laws degree at American
University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
He is an active member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association, the American
Bar Association, the New
York State Bar Association and American
Masters of Laws Association. He is currently a member
of the Board of Trustees of the American Masters of Laws Association.
He has written many articles about Mexican and U.S. immigration
law and has a column on U.S. immigration law in Tijuana's
newspaper Frontera.
Mr. Maldonado is completely fluent in both Spanish and English.
He has been admitted to practice law in the United States
in the State of New York and various federal courts and in
Mexico in every court and jurisdiction.
Luis Alfonso Leyva-Casto, Esq.
Of Counsel ATTORNEY
Mr. Leyva-Castro recieved his Licenciado en Derecho degree
from the Autonomous University
of Baja California, in Tijuana, Mexico. He is an active
member of the Colegio de Abogados de Tijuana (College of Tijuana
Attorneys). He is a civil trial lawyer in Baja California,
Mexico and primarily litigates commercial, estate and family
matters. Mr. Leyva-Castro worked for many years for a Civil
Public Notary for the State of Baja California and Federal
Lands in Tijuana, Mexico. He is completely fluent in both
Spanish and English. He has been admitted to practice law
in Mexico in every court and jurisdiction.
Victor Herrero, Esq., LL.M.
Of Counsel ATTORNEY
Mr. Herrero recieved his Licenciado en Derecho degree from
the Autonomous University of
Baja California, in Tijuana, Mexico and a Masters of Laws
degree from the Complutense University
in Madrid, Spain. He is an active member of the Colegio de
Abogados Constitucionalistas (College of Constitutional Attorneys)
in Tijuana, Mexico. He has been practicing Mexican immigration
law for many years in Baja California, Mexico. Mr. Herrero
is Professor of International Law and Dean of Graduate Law
Programs at the Iberoamerican
University (UIA) in Tijuana, Mexico. He is completely
fluent in both Spanish and English. He has been admitted to
practice law in Mexico in every court and jurisdiction.
William A. Markham, Esq.
OF COUNSEL ATTORNEY
Mr. Markham received his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard
Law School in 1987. He is a California based civil trial
lawyer who mostly litigates real estate matters and business
disputes, but he has also litigated various other kinds of
cases. While at Harvard, Mr. Markham served as associate editor
of the Harvard International Law Journal. He then worked for
Coudert Brothers, a world-renowned international law firm,
as an associate litigator. Mr. Markham established his own
law practice in 1990 and since then has litigated over one-thousand
cases, often doing so with striking success. He has written
several articles on the law and has twice served as an adjunct
professor of law. He is completely fluent in both French and
English. He is admitted to practice law in the United States
in the State of California, in Washington, D.C. and various
federal courts.
